UIUX Researcher & Designer

Permanent employee, Full-time · Singapore

Intro

In this role, you will be a critical team member and responsible for defining the user experience of our products. Based in Singapore, you will work closely with product managers, software engineers and other UX/UI designers in a globally distributed team environment.

What will you do

Work with development team, domain specialists and UX designers in an internationally distributed team setup to define and implement designs.
Collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment to ensure designs are implemented iteratively and effectively.
Perform user research and usability testing to refine user needs and requirements.
Develop, refine and translate user requirements into sketches, wireframes, mock-ups, interaction flows and pixel-perfect designs.
Create simple and elegant solutions for complex tasks.
Present concepts, designs, research findings to senior stakeholders and team members.
Assist other team members in product innovation.
Perform design quality assurance (QA) by reviewing the implemented application and identifying UI/UX inconsistencies.

What do we expect

BA/BS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), other relevant disciplines or 2 years of equivalent practical experience.
Experience in designing for mobile or other digital applications.
Broad experience in user centered design process, especially with iterative design and delivery.
Working knowledge in UI principles, heuristics, patterns and technique.
Experience in working with senior stakeholders and/or clients.
Being committed to interdisciplinary collaboration and problem solving.
Proficient in design tools such as Figma, InVision and/or Principle.
Effective time management skills.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Keen interest in emerging technologies.
Fluent in English.
