UIUX Researcher & Designer

Intro
In this role, you will be a critical team member and responsible for defining the user experience of our products. Based in Singapore, you will work closely with product managers, software engineers and other UX/UI designers in a globally distributed team environment.
What will you do
  • Work with development team, domain specialists and UX designers in an internationally distributed team setup to define and implement designs.
  • Collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment to ensure designs are implemented iteratively and effectively.
  • Perform user research and usability testing to refine user needs and requirements.
  • Develop, refine and translate user requirements into sketches, wireframes, mock-ups, interaction flows and pixel-perfect designs.
  • Create simple and elegant solutions for complex tasks.
  • Present concepts, designs, research findings to senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Assist other team members in product innovation.
  • Perform design quality assurance (QA) by reviewing the implemented application and identifying UI/UX inconsistencies.
What do we expect
  • BA/BS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), other relevant disciplines or 2 years of equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in designing for mobile or other digital applications.
  • Broad experience in user centered design process, especially with iterative design and delivery.
  • Working knowledge in UI principles, heuristics, patterns and technique.
  • Experience in working with senior stakeholders and/or clients.
  • Being committed to interdisciplinary collaboration and problem solving.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Figma, InVision and/or Principle.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Keen interest in emerging technologies.
  • Fluent in English.
