Intern, Assistant Drone Pilot

Intro

The drone pilot is a critical role to help develop and test Screening Eagle’s new software and hardware inspection technologies for the built environment in Singapore and abroad. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with extensive experience operating unmanned aircraft (UA) with small, deployed teams. Some building facade inspection experience is highly desirable.

What will you do

Maintenance of UA fleets such as firmware updating, cleaning, and lubricating.
Ensure operational readiness of the team’s personnel and equipment.
Regular monthly stock accountability check.
Assist Lead Drone Pilot in project planning – budgeting.
Assist Lead Drone Pilot to conduct pre-flight planning such as weather forecast, project planning and site coordination.
Assist Lead Drone Pilot as a visual observer for any inspection flights.
Post data processing: image sorting, defect labelling, 3D reconstruction model.
Assist Lead Drone Pilot in the inspection report writing.
Any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.

What do we expect

Understudying a technical degree or diploma.
Basic knowledge of DJI or any drones in the industry.
Self-motivated and eager to learn.
