Intro
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Marketing Events Manager EMEA to take ownership of our regional event activity across EMEA. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing and Product Management to plan and deliver impactful events, managing the full event lifecycle from planning and execution through to post-event follow-up and reporting.
What will you do
- Owning the EMEA event calendar and coordinating events from planning through execution and follow-up
- Working closely with Sales, Marketing and Product Management to identify and to prioritise regional events
- Managing trade shows, conferences, customer events, seminars, partner events and product-related events
- Coordinating event logistics, including venues, booth requirements, materials, shipping, registration, AV and suppliers
- Managing external agencies and suppliers, including quotations and negotiations
- Tracking event budgets and ensuring activities are delivered within agreed budgets
- Coordinating event content, presentations, branding and promotional materials with relevant Marketing and Product teams
- Ensuring timely communication and coordination with local Sales teams
- Supporting lead capture and ensuring post-event leads are properly transferred to Sales
- Preparing post-event reports covering attendance, leads, opportunities, costs and ROI
- Identifying opportunities to improve event efficiency, standardisation and ROI across EMEA
- Maintaining an organised central event calendar, documentation and supplier database
What do we expect
- 3 to 5 years of experience in event marketing, B2B events, trade shows or conference management
- Excellent organisational and project-management skills; highly diligent and detail-oriented
- Fluent professional English
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- Willingness to travel across EMEA, based on task assignment
- Good understanding of budgets, suppliers and event logistics
- Experience within B2B technology, engineering, industrial, or construction sectors would be an advantage
- Experience working within international teams is also a plus
- Any additional European language such as German, Spanish, French or Italian would be beneficial
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, as well as event lead management is desirable
- Skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and video editing are considered a plus
