Finance & HR Manager

Intro
This is a hands-on role combining leadership of the U.S. finance function with responsibility for essential local HR processes. You will manage all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, and business analysis, while also maintaining employee data, ensuring HR policies are followed, and supporting a positive workplace culture. This role is ideal for a proactive finance professional who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, leading a small team, improving processes, and partnering with senior leadership to support both operational and people-related priorities.
What will you do
Financial Management & Reporting
  • Lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to group management.
  • Prepare and review monthly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Manage year-end audit processes, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Ensure all U.S. tax filings (federal, state, sales/use tax, etc.) are completed accurately and on time, working with external tax advisors as required.
 
Team Leadership & Process Improvement
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior financial accountant, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Review and enhance existing financial processes, controls, and policies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Drive ERP system improvements to enhance reporting and scalable operations.
  • Work closely with Group Finance team implement Power BI reporting in local business, to enhance local business commercial and operational insights.
 
Business Support & Commercial Analysis
  • Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Partner with operations, sales, and senior management to deliver actionable insights on performance, pricing, and profitability.
  • Prepare forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to track business performance against targets.
 
HR Administration & Support
  • Management of bi-weekly payroll working closely with the outsourced payroll providers
  • Maintain and update the HR system with accurate employee data and records.
  • Support core HR processes such as onboarding, performance management cycles, and employee policy compliance.
  • Ensure alignment with company policies, U.S. labor laws, and best practices, working with external HR advisors as needed.
  • Act as a point of contact for local employees on HR-related matters, fostering an open and supportive workplace environment.
  • Work closely with Group HR Manager to ensure compliance with Group HR needs and company wide policies.
What do we expect
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance experience, including prior experience leading or managing a small finance team.
  • Technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax compliance, and audit processes.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Power BI experience is desirable. 
  • Ability to handle basic HR administration confidently; familiarity with U.S. labor law requirements desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes, implement controls, and deliver accurate, timely reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a growing business.
